As the 2016 holiday season approaches, we all prepare ourselves for the food, the gathering of family, the ambiance of the holidays, and the same thoughts we have every year. No worries, we are all having the same thoughts so don't feel like you are the only one! Here's 30 thoughts we all have during the holiday season:
1. It better snow on Christmas.
2. Is it time to eat yet?
3. I really hope the turkey is better than last year.
4. There better be leftovers or my entire week is ruined.
5. I really hope I get a good seat at the dinner table.
6. Is it time to go home yet?
7. I swear if they ask me one more time how school is going I'm going to lose it. (for all you college kids)
8. And how many times do I have to tell them that I still don't have a boyfriend?
9. How much more food can I possibly eat?
10. Why didn't I wear sweatpants? I'm going to explode out of these pants.
11. Did I remember to bring all of the presents?
12. Time to figure out who got me for secret Santa without anyone knowing I'm looking for them.
13. How can I be at three different places at once?
14. When is it acceptable to dig into dessert?
15. Mariah Carey's Christmas album is still and always will be the best.
16. Can we just open presents already?
17. Who wraps presents with this much tape??
18. I hope I make it to the city to see the tree this year.
19. I really hope grandma doesn't catch me stealing her Christmas cookies again.
20. Well, I helped her make them so I deserve to steal some cookies, right?
21. Even though I'm not a kid anymore Christmas morning is still the best morning of the year.
22. Who cares if this is my third serving of mashed potatoes? It's a holiday!
23. Is it acceptable to get drunk at a time like this?
24. There really is not enough time in the day to see every single family member.
25. I wonder who gets to dress up as Santa this year.
26. How are we going to fit all these people at the dinner table?
27. I wonder if I'll have to sit at the kid's table again.
28. I really love this time of year.
29. And I really love my crazy, wonderful family.
And finally,
30. Is it time to eat yet? Because this thought crosses our mind way more than we will ever admit.
Happy Holidays!
