30 Things To Be Thankful For This Thanksgiving.

It's that time of the year again, turkey day aka Thanksgiving is this week! Here's a list of 30 things to be thankful for this Holiday.

1. You woke up today.

You were given another chance at life, that itself should be something you're thankful for everyday.

2. Good health.

Even if your health isn't 100%, it could be worse.. Just be thankful.

3. Your parents.

They were the ones who brought you onto this Earth.

4. Good friends.

Life without good friends, wouldn't be good at all.

5. Having a home.

Whether you live in a mansion or a tent, having a place to call home is something to be thankful for.

6. Having money in the bank.

Whether it's $1,000 or just a few coins, that makes you richer than most people on Earth.

7. An education.

Many people go without an education, be thankful for schools and teachers.

8. Laughter.

A world without laughter, would be a world of pain. Laughter is the best medicine.

Many people lack access to clean water, be thankful if you're fortunate enough to have it.

10. Sunshine

The sun's warmth can brighten any day.

11. Love.

Imagine a world without the ability to love.

16. Diversity.

Life would be boring without diversity.

17. Ability to learn.

We have endless potential.

18. Others willing to teach.

How will we learn if there is no one to teach us?

19. Music.

Turn the volume up, and get lost in your favorite song.

20. Oceans.

The creatures in the ocean are mystical looking, it's breath taking the life that lives under water.

21. Creativity.

To be able to create things like drawings, music, clothes, etc is beautiful.

22. Blankets.

I just love being all cozy wrapped in a blanket.

23. Books.

Because who doesn't love to get lost in a new story?

24. Sibling bonds.

There's no other bond that's quite the same.

25. Netflix.

Rainy day? Netflix. Bad day? Netflix. Lonely? Netflix. Date? Netflix and chill.

26. Cameras.

To capture all the little moments in life to look back on, one day.

27. Sunsets.

Those little moments of "awe" at the sky and how it can change into a beautiful color(s) right before your eyes.

28. Yearbooks.

Want a blast from the past? Want to see how much your friends have grown? Pull out an old yearbook!

29. Comfort food.

Because who doesn't want mac 'n cheese on a bad day?

There's honestly no better feeling than being surrounded by people who share a love of music, and to be able to hear your favorite songs played live.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
