30 Reasons Your Sister is Your Best Friend

Sisters by chance, friends by choice. Not all sisters get along, but if you are lucky enough to have a sister and a friend all in one like me, hold her tight. I wouldn't trade my sister and the relationship that we have for the world. She is hands down my best friend in the entire world. Family lasts forever and if your friends happen to be family, they will last forever too.

1. She understands family matters.

Family drama can be complicated, but she understands it better than anyone else.

2. She's the only one who understands just how weird your family truly is.

Nobody else gets it.

3. You were raised the same way.

Your mom and dad shaped you to think and believe the same things.

4. You have a mutual obsession with your family pets.

They do something cute and you just can't control yourself.

5. She'll always be there for you.

Family is forever.

6. She's known you longer than anyone else.

Ever since you left the womb and throughout the awkward stages.

7. She doesn't judge you.

So keep eating that cake, even if it's your third piece.

8. She supports you in anything and everything.

That's what family is for.

9. She's brutally honest.

She's not afraid to tell you what you need to hear.

10. You have a lot of inside jokes.

Too many to count.

11. She'll never go after your boyfriend (hopefully).

Sisters before misters.

12. She knows all of your favorite songs to jam out to.

She'll sing and dance along with you.

13. She'll be crazy with you.

What's better than having someone else to be crazy with?

14. You have a whole other closet.

Having a sister means you get to steal her clothes on top of having your own.

15. You can talk to her about your other friends.

When you have friend troubles, you can tell her because she understands.

16. She notices everything about you.

Every inch, pound, hairstyle, etc., nothing goes unnoticed.

17. She pushes you to be better.

She wants you to be the best you can be.

18. She's your partner in crime, and she always has been.

Causing trouble together since day one.

19. You can fight with her one minute and be laughing the next.

That's the good thing about sisters.

20. She has seen you at your worst and at your best.

She's seen your ugly cry too many times to count.

21. You want what is best for each other.

If you're not happy, she's not happy and vice versa.

22. You will always have a place to stay.

Her house, is your house.

23. And a shoulder to cry on.

She will always wipe your tears.

24. You can always count on her.

She won't let you down.

25. She's always down for a dance party.

Even if you suck at dancing.

26. She doesn't care how bad you look.

Who says you have to shower every day?

27. She has been there for every bad thing that has happened.

Every breakup and every bad friendship, she's been right by your side.

28. She showed you tough love.

Suck it up, buttercup.

29. She loves you for you.

She wants you to be yourself, that's who she loves.

30. She will never try to change you.

Weird, crazy, annoying, she wouldn't try to change a thing.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
