Going into the second half of my third year at WPI, while I am extremely comfortable and in love with this school, I have many questions as well for the student body, staff and administrators:

1. Why does myWPI need a countdown?

2. And with that, why are professors using both myWPI and Canvas?

3. Why does facilities only use 1 ply toilet paper?

4. Why does WPI ask you for donations when you're an undergraduate student paying tuition?

5. Why is Health Services not open for 24 hours like at other schools?

6. Also, why is Health Services a major inconvience to get to for the majority of students?

7. Why does WPI not put an emphasis on the Student Development and Counseling Center ever?

8. Why do meal swipes at the Campus Center cost more than if you bought the items separately?

9. With our tuition, why can we not print for free?

10. Why are students in the wrong for taking SNAP at night to Union Station to get to downtown Worcester?

11. Why does WPI keep accepting more students even though we don't have the dorm space?

12. Why does the Wind Tunnel need to be closed? (I know the answer but hey, major inconvenience)

13. Why are DAKA cookies not in the Campus Center?

14. Also, why does it matter if we call the dining hall DAKA?

15. Can the Campus Center have more outlets?

16. Also, can the Campus Center be bigger so we don't need to wander for 10 minutes trying to find a seat?

17. Why does Stratton Hall not have an elevator?

18. And why does Salisbury Labs only have one?

19. Why do students skateboard around campus at the weirdest hours?

20. Why is our school just so much better than RPI? (Sorry, RPI, we still love you <3)

21. Why are all of the treadmills broken in East Hall?

22. Why aren't real goats on our campus more often?

23. Why is the hill just so awful?

24. Why is our only not Chartwells food place on campus Dunkin Donuts?

25. Why does the library not have more good books to read casually?

26. How is there not a course on the many, many acronyms of WPI?

27. Why is our fight song actually one of the best, nerdiest things ever?

28. Why does WPI not have a designated nap time?

29. Like seriously, 7 term weeks are rough, what gives?

30. How did we all get so lucky to go to such as amazing institution?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated.
