30 Of The Best Feelings In The World

Sometimes we get so caught up in the world that we forget to appreciate the small moments that make us happy. It may sound cliche, but it is truly the little things in life that matter. When life offers to much at once, that can make us feel like we are drowning. Sometimes we must take a step backwards to be grateful for all that life has to offer and appreciate the experiences that make us happy. Here are some of the little things that make up some of the best feelings in the world:

1. Coming home after a long day and taking off your bra/pants

2. Flipping your pillow to the cool side in the middle of the night

3. Applying your eyeliner perfectly

Let's be real, eyeliner application is an art. Even when you get one eye done perfectly, it's almost impossible to get the other to match. You know it's a good day when you get it done right.

4. The smell outside after it rains

5. Hot showers. Need I say more?

6. Crawling into bed after a really long day

7. Finishing all of your homework for the night

8. The first bite of a meal when you're really hungry

9. Popping bubble wrap

10. Waking up in the middle of the night and realizing you have more hours to sleep

11. Perfectly curling your hair

12. Blasting your favorite song

13. The fresh breeze coming from an open window

14. The first warm weather day you get after a cold winter

15. The feeling of getting your online purchase in the mail (might be the best feeling yet)

16. The heat of the sun as you're laying on a beach

17. Breakfast food...anytime of the day...

18. Knowing that you can sleep in late

19. Hugs from best friends

Nothing is better than the feeling of being hugged and loved by your besties. It is always a great feeling to be loved and appreciated, especially by those who you love and appreciate back.

20. Cancelled classes

21. Playing with babies/children

22. The excitement of knowing you're going to be traveling soon

Sometimes the excitement of knowing you're going to be going on a trip is just as much fun as the actual trip! Well...kinda. There's so much to look forward to, so much to pack, so much to plan! Definitely at the top of my list of best feelings.

23. Finding money in your pocket randomly

24. Getting good grades on things you thought you failed

25. The feeling after an exam is over

26. Forehead kisses

27. Finding new music

When you come across new music that you love instantly and you just want to dance like Drake, you know you can't help but be happy. Spotify and 8tracks knows what's up. They have me dancing all day long!

28. Sales at stores

29. Putting on sweatpants after a long day

30. Being called beautiful

I'm sure, like me, many of you received lots of gift cards over the holidays. After working retail seasonally, here are a few tips that I learned in order to make the employees at your favorite store just a little happier and not want to charge you extra on your purchase for being awful. 5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
