Your relationship with your roommates can go several different ways. You love them, hate them, never see them, or just never even exchange words with them. During college, you may have just one roommate you absolutely love or you may go from semester to semester with a new one. Sometimes you get lucky and find your roommate who you just get along with without a ton of effort. They are the Rachel to your Monica or Joey to your Chandler. They also make coming home a little more pleasant than miserable.

1. If something ever goes wrong, they always have your back.

2. They usually know you, better than you know yourself. Especially when you say you are fine and you aren't.

3. When one of us eats the last of the Blue Bell Ice Cream.

4. They cheer you on to actually get up and attend class.

5. Shenanigans happen during all family dinners.

6. When they go out but you have a test to study for.

7. When people do not know you are roommates and they just assume you hate each other because of public interactions.

8. When your roommate gets home and know you just need a hug.

9. Automatically having someone help you move stuff whenever and wherever.

10. That one friend of your roommates who hits on you all the time.

11. They catch you doing every little embarrassing thing, but still love you.

12. When you ask your roommates to help you with groceries.

13. When your roommates had fun the night before and are talking about it, but you were not able to go.

14. When your roommates ask if they can eat some of your food.

15. When all the roommates arrive at home all together and your little, '4th roommate' is passed out on the couch.

16. When your roommates talk about a new guy.

17. When your roommates ask you for help with something and you really do not want to.

18. After a long day, they understand what is going on.

19. They listen to you rant about how your life is a total mess.

20. You act like a married couple.

21. When they are annoyed with you.

22. When you spill food and your drink everywhere the second you are trying to leave.

23. When you are up all night studying and they push your buttons.

24. When sharing food with your roommate.

25. Trying to figure out a plan for the weekend.

26. When someone is a neat freak and does not like change.

27. Your roommates are always brutally honest, whether you like it or not.

28. You will always have someone to go out and have fun with.

29. When you get stuck in a tough situation, they will come help (or at least you hope).

30. When you have been holding tears in all day and your roommates do something nice and you lose it.

All in all, no matter how much or how little you love your roommates, they will always be there when you need them.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
