Crunches and pushups are good, but they are exercises that your body gets used to quickly leaving you with no results. There are some alternative movements that will make burn so good but make you look even better.

1. The first thing you should invest in are resistance bands. They have them on Amazon for about $8 and let me tell you that you see results with these. I start and end my gym routine by using the medium resistance bands for pushups and squats. They really make all the difference because it adds that extra weight, so you feel toned and not bulked

2. TRX machines are one of my favorite workouts. It beats the boring cardio like running and makes it fun to workout. The thing I love about it most is that you can target every single part of your body. Everytime I do it, I wake up feeling sore as ever.

3. Jump roping has become one of the biggest fitness trends recently. What started off as a sport just for boxers turned into one of the best ways to lose stubborn fat. Did I mention it’s a heck of a lot of fun?!

These are just a few more exercises to switch up your workout and make it a lot more fun. I guarantee you that you will be sore and you will see results. Pinterest is just a click away and they have some of the best workouts you can do anywhere.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
