3 Ways To Keep Your New Year's Resolutions
New Year's Resolutions

The new year is here, and everybody is trying to get in shape or learn how to cook or reach some sort of other goal before the fresh year is out and we trade it in for another. However, some people find their resolutions hard to stick to. Whether you bit off more than you can chew, get swept up and busy in the post-holiday workload, or just have a hard time staying motivated, here are 3 ways to beat the "New Year New me" fall out!

1. Write It Down

Having a physical representation of your goals is very important. Those who write what they want to accomplish down have a much higher chance of achieving it than those who don't. Write it down and hang it somewhere that you look everyday!

2. Ask A Friend

Asking a friend to check up on your progress is a good way to keep yourself accountable. You won't want to let them down, so a friend or family member's support is a big asset to accomplishing your goals!

3. Make A Plan

Goals and resolutions can sometimes seem far out of reach. However, making a plan and breaking things down into manageable steps can help you reach your goals much faster and much easier.

One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
