Three Things That Should Be A Part Of Your Everyday Life

No matter how old you are, or where you are from, there is always a time in your life where you have taken something for granted. Whether its family, friends, memories, or even life itself, we have all made this mistake. Most of us, especially the younger generation, don't know how fast things can change in an instant. As people, we must remember that nothing is ever free or easy. Here are three pieces of advice you should revolve your life around every day.

1. Don't ever wait for anybody or anything.

Do you remember the last time you set something aside and told yourself "I have time to do it later or another time"? What about the time you wanted to go on an adventure but you told yourself that you could wait a few weeks or months to go on it? I guarantee if something were to happen to you, you would regret not doing all these things you have been putting off. Instead of telling yourself "I'll do it later or in a few weeks", you should be finding ways to do it as soon as possible. You will never know when there will be another chance to do these activities, so take the time to get it all done and there will be no regrets later!

2. Set daily goals

Every morning when you wake up and roll out of bed, you should set a daily goal you would like to achieve for the day. Whether it's something major like losing weight and eating healthy, or even something small such as making somebody laugh or smile, you should always wake up and set a goal. You should want to wake up in the morning and try to be the best person you could be possible for the day. Don't get me wrong, you should always have a long-term goal set for future years, but I guarantee you will be a happier person if you set daily goals and achieve them. No matter what type of daily goal you will set, you will become a more positive person once these goals are achieved.

3. Be happy, no matter what.

You should not be wasting minutes and hours of your life worrying about small, unimportant things in your life. You most likely will probably not even remember any of those things in future months anyway. Instead, you should turn any negativity into a positive. There will be the days where you feel down about yourself and whats going on around you, but you should always remember the positive that is going on in your life. Surrounding yourself with positive energy will allow you to appreciate life more. Start laughing, smiling, and enjoying life more. Everybody should be living a happy life.

As simple as these tasks seem, not many people follow these. I know for a while I stopped when life became hectic, and I became much more of a negative person. I know not to ever make the mistake of taking life's moments for granted ever again. Just follow these three simple steps, and live life to the fullest with no regrets.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
