Ok, so college is literally one month away and summer is coming to end. But that does not mean that your style has to.
The best part about going back to school is having the opportunity to create a new look and new you. If you are like me then you have about 24 days until college starts. I am a senior in college and I want to go back as a new "Jamie," so here are a few things that I plan on updating during the next 24 days.
My Hair:
So I am constantly changing my hairstyles throughout the school year and each time I change my hair I always feel like a new person with a new start. Last year, I shaved both sides of my hair just to do something different. I don't suggest going that extreme, but do something within your comfort zone.
I use Pinterest for daily inspiration, because once you cut or make a drastic change to your hair, it is important to know how to style that hairstyle accordingly. Pinterest is a great site for hairstyle inspiration and new ways to style your hair.
Clothes:
Of course going back to school means checking out the back to school sales. As you may know, my favorite site is ASOS. They are currently having a 20% sale for the Fall season, and the new clothes are amazing! This is a great opportunity to try out a new style that you were thinking. If you are entering your freshman year, I suggest going all out and try something different. It is always best to do a drastic change when you are starting something new, it's kind of like a re-invention of yourself.
Attitude:
In order to go back to school as a new you, you need to go back with the right attitude. If you are usually an introvert, start the school year talking to new students or that person you always wanted to chat with. I remember in high school, people told me I always had a serious face, so when I went to college I decided to smile more and this helped me tremendously. More people would approach me, and I even met more friends because of it.
So remember, new school year is a new start and the best part is you have over 20 days to start making adjustments.
