3 Secret Starbuck Drinks You Have To Try

There's no better way to ring in summer than with a cold drink.

If you find yourself craving a cold drink this summer and a Starbucks is within reach, here are three "secret drinks" to order that you won't find on the regular menu:

1.The PINK Drink

This drink has been up and down Instagram and has quickly claimed the name of the new summer drink everyone must try. It's the strawberry açai refresher with coconut milk instead of water. Adding coconut milk will cost you about 60 cents more, but I promise it's worth it. This drink quickly became my favorite summer drink. It has a sweet taste, almost like liquid candy. That sounds disgusting, but I promise it's good. When I first tried it, I compared it to gummy candy and liquid happiness. It has just the right amount of sweetness, and everyone from my 10-year-old niece to my older manager has grown a love for this new pink drink. Due to its quick popularity, even Starbucks baristas are dying to try it. You can even switch out the frozen strawberries for blackberries—it tastes the same, it just makes your drink look different.

2. White Youthberry Granita

Last Tuesday, Starbucks came out with their sunset menu, and this drink is a big part of it. If you're a Starbucks fiend like I am and you literally eat, sleep and breathe Starbucks, you can get your sunset fix for $3 by showing your morning receipt. I'm not that fond of the Youthberry granita. It reminds me of a slushy you get from the ice cream truck—practically just ice with syrup on top. The taste was quite interesting; it tastes like an alcohol mixer, so I guess it's great. My reaction has been the only negative one so far, but it just reminds me of the slushies from the Mr. Softee ice cream truck. So close your eyes and sip and you'll imagine yourself on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean watching the sun set. If that's too tropical, you can kick back and imagine you're back in one of your childhood days.

3. Birthday Cake Frappuccino

Remember last year when Starbucks was celebrating their 20-year anniversary and they came out with this amazing new drink that was only out for a weekend? The birthday cake frappuccino—it tasted and looked like heaven with pink whipped cream and a wonderful indescribable taste. The birthday cake frappe was the one that got away until now. Here is how to order a birthday cake frappe at your Starbucks: Ask for a vanilla bean frappuccino with hazelnut, then ask for raspberry infused whip cream. Not every barista will be so happy about the raspberry infused whipped cream, but it tastes the same with or without the pink coloring. This is my favorite frappe because it tastes just like cake. If you haven't tried it try it now, I promise it's worth the extra work.

Next time you visit Starbucks give these cool drinks a try, and if you love them, try one in a "trenta."

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
