With the 2017 Spring Anime season underway, there are a few anime that are making their return with sequels to their story. Here are the three in which I think will be the most anticipated for the upcoming season.

1. "Attack on Titan."

Probably the most highly anticipated anime of the year, fans of the “Attack of Titan” franchise have waited almost four years for the arrival of the second season, and now it’s finally here. It’s a bit disappointing for fans such as myself who grew impatient of the wait and resorted to the manga for the advancement of the story, but all in all, I am still quite excited for the animated moments that I don’t get from reading. The main question still remains in the anime, though: Just what exactly are the Titans? Unfortunately, the second season is listed to be only 12 episodes, so we’ll see just how far and compressed it’ll be, but I hope the story advances at a good pace. There will definitely be a third season, as well.

2. "My Hero Academia."

A personal favorite, “My Hero Academia” gears up for its second season after coming off a well-received first season. What I expect from the upcoming season is more character development in not only Izuku but also his classmates. I’m excited to see how the story progresses after where things were left off. Obviously there is an apparent villain in Tomura Shigaraki, but his background and motivation are still unknown. Izuku also has a lot of room for growth as well, so we’ll see just how much his training and trials he will undergo as well as the progression of his relationship with All Might.

3. "How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend."

Out of the three anime listed, I’m not quite sure what to expect from the upcoming season of “How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend,” probably since it’s more slice-of-life based, but even so, I expect a lot more development between the relationships of each character. In the first season, we see Aki’s relationship with each girl and how they interact with one another. We also get the background of each girl’s story and how that develops to where they are currently. In the next season of “How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend,” I think we’ll definitely get a better sense as to how things will play out between Aki and the girls. The one character that I believe will receive the most background coverage and growth will be Megumi. Mostly since out of all the characters in the first season, she had the least amount of development.

Which of the three second season anime are you looking forward to?

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
