Sounds perfect right? Well, all of my Floridians know that we have the ability to do such a thing unlike others. Sorry Midwesterners! However, although we have such easy access to beaches and sunshine everywhere, we tend to forget about it. I have made a goal for myself, as you should: to take a trip to the beach at least once a week from now on.
1. It regulates your melatonin levels.

The sunlight tells your body when to increase and decrease your melatonin levels, so you can naturally fall asleep better. When melatonin levels are managed, this also leads to a reduction in stress levels. As a work-focused society, we tend to forget that our bodies need time to recuperate so that we can be the best version of ourselves. So, take a day to the beach and eliminate all your stress and sleep problems!
2. It's good for your health.

This particular vitamin is an important factor in strengthening your immune system. With consistent exposure to sunlight, you can strengthen your immune system. The sun also increases your serotonin levels. Serotonin is a chemical that improves your mood and helps you remain calm and focused.
3. It can help you live a longer life.

Although this may be true, you must take the sun in moderation. Too much sunlight exposure can do just the opposite and have serious long-lasting problems. So, enjoy some monitored time under the sun and wear sunscreen.
And as if you need more reasons, the beach is just such a relaxing place. Grab some friends or family and make it a weekly thing to spend a few hours on the beach. Don't forget your sunscreen!
