3 Reasons to Read a Manga
Loquaciousreaders via Blogspot

Humans have invented many things to entertain themselves. Activities ranging from outdoor games like football, soccer, baseball to indoor games like chess, monopoly and so on to reading books. But, let me focus on the reading part. There are many things we read for entertainment like magazines, newspaper, blogs, comics etc. These are the items we are familiar with but I want to talk about a material that is popular, but not as popular as these. Manga.

I’m pretty sure most of you have heard, and luckily, have read at least one. Manga is technically the Japanese version of a comic, which you read from right to left. If you have not read one yet, then I’ll give you three reasons why you should.

1. It’s an awesome time pass

Haven’t you had a day where you had watched everything on Netflix, played all games, and there were no good books to read? Well, I’ll tell you a secret. You should try manga. Manga has a wide variety to choose from. It includes all sort of genres too.

2. Manga tends to have an awesome story line

Well, I mostly read manga for the story. The story is mostly good and you get hooked very quickly. The stories are illustrated with great details too. Stories are usually different from one manga to another so it’s always something new to read.

3. They are very relatable to your life

Besides all the big eyes, cute faces and spiky hair, the gist of the story is so relatable. The ups and downs of life, the happy moments, and the depressing moments are all represented properly which makes the events happening in manga very real. It feels like you’ve been through the same situation as the character in the manga which makes it even more fun to read.

If you have decided to read one by now, please do so promptly. You might have been missing a whole lot of good things.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
