While I was scrolling through Twitter yesterday, I came across a few pictures and just lost it. One of my favorite parts about the internet and social media is that we are able to see all of the crazy and absurd things that are happening around the world, and i'll admit, I absolutely love it. Thanks to Twitter, I had a few much needed laughs yesterday. Here are a few examples that demonstrate just how much I love humanity.
1. The Impersonator
Let's just talk about this for a second. A teen goes to jail....for impersonating a doctor....then tries escaping jail.....by impersonating a prison guard. Really?!? I think someone is a little too excited for Halloween this year. First of all, what is the purpose of pretending to be a doctor? Second of all, did he actually get people to believe he was a real doctor? How, and why? And another question...how did he get his hands on a prison guard uniform? These are the things I'll never understand, but I still love it.
2. Why Gucci...Just Why?
Ah yes, just what everyone had in mind for this Christmas. A pair of nice, warm, cozy goat hair slippers from Gucci. At only $1,800, I can walk around looking like I'm wearing Hannah Montana's wig on my feet! Every girl's dream. I just want to know, why Gucci? Better yet, these slippers cost more money than I've ever had in my bank account at one time. Why waste your money on a few vacations when you can have one pair of Gucci goat hair slippers?!
3. The Goldfish Lady
Yes, you read that right. A woman rushed her precious goldfish Conquer to the vet when she saw he was choking on a pebble. But then again that doesn't sound too crazy--I wouldn't want to watch my pet suffer. Instead of just allowing the vet to put the goldfish down peacefully then buying a new $12 goldfish, she pays $375 to save his life. A true hero. Someone give this woman a metal. It is obvious that she cherished her goldfish dearly. Judging by his name, she had dreams for him to "conquer" the world (or his fishbowl). I can now sleep at night knowing that Conquer is happy and healthy back in his fishbowl.
