Ichiro Suzuki has finally come home after six years, and we could not be more excited. A household name in the Pacific Northwest, Ichiro has established a large fan base over the course of little more than a decade. With coming back on a one year contract, here are a couple reasons you should be excited about this great move in Seattle Mariners history and should head to a game this season

1. He is a legend

Ichiro Suzuki has been with the Seattle Mariners franchise for the majority of his major league career and through that has been the face of many campaigns, advertisements, and apparel for the team. Ichiro has created a fanbase not only in Seattle or in the United States, but Japan as well, as countless tourists came to Seattle just to see Ichiro do his iconic lead-up for his up bat. Not only is Ichiro a Seattle legend but a major league legend.

2. Retire in the place he started

Why would you not want to support a player like Ichiro when he has decided to simply do a one-year playing contract with the Mariners just so he can retire while wearing the jersey of the team that started his American baseball career? The return of Ichiro to Seattle will not only benefit Ichiro but hopefully the team's statistics throughout the season, as well as the organization as a whole.

3. World Series?

Easier said than done, but maybe, just maybe, with having Ichiro back in right field and leading the Mariners on the roster the Mariners might be able to snag a spot to enter the World Series for the first time in Mariners history. Who knows, he could be the lucky charm that finally gets the Mariners to the ultimate finish line.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
