Life they say is fleeting and the best thing we can do about it is to make the best use of every second that it offers us.
We wake up daily to new tasks that need to be executed and sometimes fall short of what we ought to achieve, sometimes by our fault, and sometimes not.
Students are probably not the busiest persons on the planet, but they are busy alright.
Aside from academic tasks which are demanding as hell, students are also required to do what everyone else does.
So how do you manage yourself to get things done when you have 'just' 24 hours like everyone else but you are required to do more?
Ignore the urge to hit the snooze
Have you ever been in a situation when you go to sleep by 8 pm after a long day and after what seems like a few moments, you are jolted by the irksome sound of the alarm clock?
Yikes.
You always feel tempted to hit the snooze button right?
Well, you are not alone, but even so, giving in to the urge to extend your nap time doesn’t just take that 10 minutes of your day, it leads to a chain reaction which might eventually create a wormhole called procrastination that eventually sucks up hours of valuable time throughout your lifetime.
Prepare your clothes
As cheesy as it sounds, preparing your clothes often takes a huge chunk of your time. Think of how much time you spend deciding on which shirt would look better on your blue jean.
Preparing your clothes very early in the morning would earn you a lot of spares to delegate for other important tasks.
The smart move will be to have your clothes ready for an entire week. Go through your schedule to check for occasions during the week, separate your wares for casual outings and formal events. This way you would have crossed off the infamous dilemma of what-to-wear.
Stick to your schedule
The moment you compromise on your schedule especially in cases where not totally necessary, you are bound to lose the zeal to keep to that planer.
Try as much as you can to stay true to the time you allot for tasks and do go even a micro-second beyond that time.
