3 Places I'd Rather Be

. . .than during an ice storm in Missouri.

One thing I've learned about Missouri is understanding Missouri weather. Who knew a state could possess all four seasons in one week?! After multiple weather warnings were sent out the previous week for the impending ice storm, I stopped to think, where would I rather be? I present to you my top destinations, and future hotspots.


1. Bahamas: Laying on the warm beach, tanning, and enjoying the ocean view.


2. Disneyland: Being a kid again and getting to experience the joys Disney fed my childhood with.


3. Prince Edward Island: A place I would love to call home. Thanks to L.M. Montgomery for sharing her story Anne of Green Gables with the world.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
