As the school year approaches, our "Netflix and Chill" nights are approaching as well, and you want to be prepared for it. Whether you're cuddling with your bae, having a movie night with friends, or just want to stay in and cuddle up next to your pillow on a rainy day, I'm giving you my top 5 shows that are "Netflix and Chill" worthy.

1. Dear White People.

If you are the type of person who is interested in politics and what's going on in the world today, including racial stereotypes, this is the show for you.

This Netflix Original follows a mixed-race college student, Samantha White, that leads an outcry on campus about a Blackface party that was hosted to rebel against her college radio show.

Not only does this show cover black stereotypes but, it also gives you an insight of what it's like being a mixed kid and having to choose which ethnicity you identify with (which has been a part of my struggle) as well as living on a college campus that ignores cultural problems because they don't want to deal with it.

Every situation and storyline is dealt with humor but, also has their serious moments that are relevant to what is going on in the world today.

2. Jessica Jones.

This one is for all my Marvel fans. I am a huge fan of Marvel and this show has got to be the best Marvel show yet. This (Marvel) Netflix Original follows a Private Investigator, Jessica Jones on her journey to stopping a mind-controlling genius named, Killgrave.

The storyline to this show is unlike any other. As most of us are used to seeing Marvel shows that consist of the protagonist having superpowers, Jessica Jones is your average American girl. Her powers consist of drinking a lot of whiskey.

3. Fuller House.

If you're in the mood to watch a comedy instead of a drama, this would be your pick. If you're as big of a fan as I am of Full House, you'll appreciate it a bit more.

Fuller House is a spin-off based on the ABC Family Show Full House. This Netflix Original follows the Tanner sisters coming together with DJ's best friend, Kimmy, to raise DJ's three sons and Kimmy's daughter under the same roof they were raised in.

Not only does this show bring back memories but, is full of special guest stars, Olsen twins references and fantastic humor. The best part is, Netflix has blessed you with two seasons! Binge on my friends!

I hope some of these shows spark an interest. All have amazing story lines and truth behind certain situations.

May your Netflix and Chill days be cozy and comfy!

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

11 Things We Learned From Brooke Davis

"What's more important? What we become or how we become it?"

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:
