1. Comfort
The most crucial part of making a college decision is how the school makes you feel. It isn’t always possible to visit every school you get accepted to, but it is important to learn everything you can about the schools. What college to go to isn’t a decision one makes rashly. Many people end up going to colleges where they don’t feel like they belong or they can’t find their own friend group. College is about finding the real you and it isn’t possible to do that if you don’t feel like you belong at your school. You want to be able to find your true squad and that starts with finding your true college.
2. Money
Money is the second factor that comes into making your college decision. The amount of money you and your family can afford to spend on college is a limitation on the places you can go to college. Let’s face it college is expensive, and the sad truth is everyone can’t afford to go wherever they want. With that being said though it should be understood that just because a school is more expensive doesn’t mean it should just be instantly refused.
3. Future
The final consideration is how that college will help you in your career. Connections are what can secure jobs in this day and age. Every college is known for offering connections in different careers or just overall excelling in certain areas. If you are a person who wants to work in a certain field or in a certain part of the country/world each college poses a different level of usefulness to you. We make so many goals for ourselves and choosing the right college is the first step in reaching those goals.
