1. Don't Let Anything Get You Down

If you're a dedicated "The Fosters" watcher, you know that Callie and the family go through a ton of things that could hold them back from reaching what they want. Whether it was with adoption or their own family problems, there is nothing that they let bring them down.

2. Talk Things Out

In my opinion, Stef and Lina do a phenomenal job communicating to their kids and to each other. The show has emphasized the importance of communication within the family system and relationships.

3. Take Responsibility

There is a lot of apologizing between characters throughout this show. It doesn't come easy for most people to apologize, but admitting you're wrong can be better than any other situation.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
