1. Dole Whip
I simply have no words to describe this refreshingly frozen miracle. Dole Whip is a pineapple-flavored soft serve ice cream served in Walt Disney World. On any given day in the Magic Kingdom Park, you can find a massive line trailing around the various attractions of Adventureland. This simple dessert has even acquired a cult-like following among Disney fans, and I can fully understand why. (Sidenote: it’s vegan! That makes it healthy, right?)
2. Ample Hills Creamery
As a native New Yorker, I have grown to be an enthusiast for Ample Hills Creamery in Brooklyn. The flavors here are simply genius -- my particular favorite contains rich clusters of Rice Krispie treats amidst billowy layers of vanilla ice cream. When I discovered that Disney World had created their own version of this beloved ice cream shop, my life was changed for the better. Ample Hills Creamery has become a vital component of my family’s yearly Disney itinerary.
3. Mickey Ice Cream
Whether you opt for the decadent ice cream pop or the classic sandwich-style treat, I can wholeheartedly confirm that anything shaped like Mickey Mouse automatically tastes better. These adorable desserts are an integral aspect of any Disney vacation.
