You would be lying if you did not form some kind of crush or interest on a fictional character in either a film or a book. Whether it is a Netflix romcom or series of books, we all have wished we had someone like the character we liked in the type of medium being used.
It is understandable to want bonds like the ones shown to us and even though it is fictional, it is okay that our expectations are high. It is not fair to us to settle for something, we all deserve the treatment people get in the movies.

Derek Shepherd from Grey's Anatomy

A house made out of candles and a marriage proposal through x-rays in an elevator, how can it get much better than that?
Simon Basset from Bridgerton

An enemies to lovers story, a rather relatable one at best. A gentleman with a dark side, who doesn't crave a little mystery in our love lives?
