Pinterest: The online creation of discovery and inspiration for practically anything. It serves as a platform of advice for do-it-yourself newbies or edgy fashionistas. Whenever I do have the spare time, I find myself scrolling through the many worlds that Pinterest holds on its News Feed. Here are some thoughts you may have while scrolling through Pinterest.

1. I have some free time... I'll get on Pinterest!

*proceeds to scroll mindlessly*

2. It has been awhile since I have been on Pinterest

So I may never be the fashion icon that my clothing boards have in them and I may never perfect the no-bake cookies I found. Pinterest will always be a creative outlet for me. Whether it be me completing in the near future or pinning just to wish that I could. That's the beauty of this online world of discovery and inspiration.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.
