27 TV Shows We All Miss
Blogspot

Coming back home from college this past weekend, I am babysitting my little brother. As he watches his own TV shows, I start to reminisce on the ones I used to love, that he has no clue about. So I'd thought I'd put a list together of the shows we used to love and probably miss dearly.

1. Keenan and Kel

BY GOLLY! This sitcom couldn't have been any better! This show never failed to get a laugh out of me!

2. As Told By Ginger

LET ME TELL YOU ALL! This show was amazing. I still wish it existed and played on air because I would be watching it every day!

3. The Amanda Show

Okay okay, truth time, I watched this show on my pink, Disney princess TV and I thought it was amazing. It was even cooler when Drake and Josh showed up and omg! The skits. BRB, dying of laughter.

4. Hey Arnold!

I must admit this football head of a cartoon was one of my favorite cartoons. Every time someone says Helga, I think of Helga from this show.

5. CatDog

THIS WAS MY SHIT! If CatDog was on, then I wasn't doing anything else besides watching this show!

6. Danny Phantom

I tried to be him once. I couldn't float through walls so it never worked out well.

7. The Angry Beavers

I don't remember this one as much as I should, but it's still a pretty great show.

8. All Grown Up!

OH NO THIS WAS MY SHIT. So wasn't Rugrats and my goodness I think I'm going to have to go binge watch this.

9. Rocket Power

OOOOOOOO MMMMMMMM GGGGGG. When I talk about this show no one remembers but for some reason this was my FAVORITE CARTOON. I'm getting the feels.

10. Kim Possible

OH OH OH, now this was a tv cartoon! Who didn't want to be Kim Possible and fight bad guys and have cool technology?

11. That So Raven

Busts out into song: "You can gaze into the future...."

12. The Naked Brothers Band

OHHHH BOY. Were they hot stuff when we were younger. They were like little Jonas Brothers of the time. I'm convinced.

13. The Wild Thornberrys

YES YES YES. I used to have the video game and I used to cover my right eye with my hair. Oh the good ol' days.

14. Unfabulous

THIS WAS MY SHIT AS WELL. I loved it. Please note they have a smoothie game on the Nickelodeon Webisite. BRB I'm going to go play it.

15. Lazy Town

Okay I loved to kick and jump with whats his face. The blue guy? With the space ship thing? SPORTACUS (tnx internet). I mean it was kind of wierd that they looked they the town characters were made of out clay but Sportacus and Stephanie were like real.

16. Drake and Josh

"I've never thought that i'd be so simple but, I found a way I found a way" Seriosuly still watch this and wish my brother would realize its a really good show. Who didn't love Helen and the crazy guy?!

17. Cyber Chase

Okay this was PBS and I only watched it because i would go to my memeres and watch it as she made dinner. It was quite entertaining.

18. Maya and Miguel

Same as Cyber Chase this was PBS, and even if it didn't measure up to Rocket Power it was a good show still.

19. Lizzie McGuire

Oh boy I loved this and everything else she starred in. I loved the cartoon, and the non cartoon.

20. Rolie Polie Olie

I still have the VCR down in my cellar.

21. Recess

YAAAS. This was quite the show.

22. Suite Life Of Zack and Cody

THIS WAS MY LIFE UP UNTIL THE STOPPED IT. (JK Wizard was but this was a close second). Boy Zack was a q-t. Oh and we can't forget Estabal Julio Ricardo Montoya de la Rosa Ramirez.

23. Even Stevens

I typed in Even Stevens and a sandwich shop popped up? Nope, I want the Stevens family and their funny ass adventures.

24. Proud Family

Lordy this was a funny cartoon family. Let's bring this show back y'all.

25. Phil of the Future

OH BOY THIS WAS GOOD.

26. Avatar: The Last Airbender

THIS. WAS (STILL IS). MY. LIFE. I don't know why but this was my favorite show ever. I seriously loved Sokka. Hands down.

27. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Do the Carlton. If you don't understand then you don't know the show.

I really wish this shows were still airing regularly and that this generation knew how GOOD these shows were. I may have pointed out that a lot of these were my shit, but honestly they all were! Our childhood was one for the books.

Cheers to being the best millennia and having the best TV shows.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
