I recently started watching Grey's Anatomy after 11 years of never being interested in seeing it. I knew the fandom was huge. I knew there was a guy called McDreamy. I was prepared for all the feels. Here's what happened as I entered the world of Grey's:
1. This is not what I expected. I was thinking it was going to be like ER, but it's leaning more towards .
2. I'm not sure how I feel about this.
3. Do I have to listen to Meredith narrate this the whole time?
4. So the main character blows off some steam before her first day at work? Why is it a big deal that she doesn't remember his name?
5. Everyone. Is. Beautiful.
6. HE IS BACK. ONE NIGHT STAND BOY IS BACK.
7. Dr. Bailey is ~totes~ going to be mama bear.
8. Dempsey is dreamy and I shall never call him anything but McDreamy ever again for the rest of my existence.
9. Meredith's mom is famous at Seattle Grace. 10/10 chance she sucks.
10. Famous mom probably isn't going to help Meredith's roommate hunt.
11. So is Ellis Grey dead or?
12. Meredith Grey is going to drain the life and spirit out of George O'Malley.
13. Already can predict Christine's character development, but I just can't help but love her as a robot.
14. Karev sucks.
15. They're going to make me fall in love with him.
16. Izzy is a surgeon and former model. My inner feminist is getting her happy dance on.
17. This patient doesn't want a beautiful and qualified woman treating him? Poor Izzy.
18. OH.
19. Izzy's boyfriend sucks too. Can't she catch a break?
20. Christina and Burke? That's a surprise. Also, not feeling it. Christina knows better than this.
21. I've heard through the interweb that everyone dies. When does this drunk anesthesiologist get to go?
22. Christina's pregnancy isn't such a crisis. She's a big girl and is confident in her decision.
23. Christina taking life lessons from pregnant cancer girl. Chipping away at the iceberg of character development.
24. Everyone has syphillis, I can't.
25. Poor George. I'm broken for you.
26. Everyone is broken and everything is wrong.
27. *Cancels plans the remainder of semester for co-op with Seattle Grace.*
