For many of us Pats fans, the Superbowl was an emotional roller coaster. It brought out the best of us, and the worst of us. We all know at some point during the game we had these thoughts:

1. Being super pumped and excited since we won the AFC Championship

Yes we were decked out in Patriots attire whenever we possibly could be, representing our boys. Yes we talked dirty to you telling you that our team is the best and is going to win. Yes we love Tom Brady. Yes we are going to rub it in your face that we are Patriots fans. Do we care that you hate our team? Hell no.

2. Luke Bryan’s singing the national anthem, love him...

...but wait, he’s a Falcons fan! There are conflicting emotions going on: am I supposed to love him or hate him because he’s with the enemy tonight?! But hey, remember when he came to Gillette and got the crowd chanting “Free Brady” and he picked fun at “those four games we all know the story to,” I guess that was pretty cool and he knows how to get his crowd going. Okay, okay, respectable, I guess I can still be a Luke Bryan fan even though he’s for Atlanta tonight.

3. Okay the game is starting, this is what we have been waiting for all season.

If you aren’t parked in front of a TV yet with some buff chick dip get on it because it’s game time. LET’S GO BOYS! Funny how Atlanta actually thinks they have a chance.

4.The first quarter is over and both teams are still scoreless.

It’s okay it’s okay we haven’t scored in the first quarter in the past seven super bowls, nothing to worry about! Also to the Falcons fans next to me please keep talking trash about the Patriots, because you really have so much to brag about right now…

5. Hmmm I wonder how many Falcons “fans” are actually Falcons fans in this room.

I know most of you are just rooting for the Falcons because you want the Pats to lose.

Keep pretending, most of you “Falcon’s fans” aren’t even true fans and don’t actually care about football, but let it be known that you aren't fooling anyone. Keep hating on the Patriots just because they are good, it’s alright we know you are jealous.

6. Atlanta scored the first touchdown, UGH.

The game isn’t over yet we can get this back. Boys, pick it up and get it together, play your game. It’s time to do your job. I want my 87 cent coffee from Dunks tomorrow!

7. Dang it they scored again.

Ok this still isn’t that bad, stay positive. We’ve had worse.

8. It’s now 21-0.

We are down 21 points and we need to get on the scoreboard, I can admit this is not looking too good.. but if I hear one more person tell me the game is basically over at this point, I’m gunna lose it. These are our Patriots. It’s not over til the clock runs out.

9. Ok we are going to score now, we have a 1st-and-goal opportunity, now let's do it!

Are you serious?! Yet another missed opportunity, but hey at least we kicked a field goal and we are on the scoreboard now.

Halftime

10. Not knowing what to expect next in Lady Gaga's performance...

She put on a solid show but we just wanted it to be over so the second half could start.

11. We are second half team, they will make something happen, I’m not worried.

We just need to come out strong from the start of the second half and we can close the gap.

12. 4 minutes into the second half...

Falcons scored again, the score is now 28-3. We are now down 25 points. No one has ever come back after being down by this much. The tears are about to start flowing, this is really not looking good, I think I might throw up.

13. The point where you debated whether or not you should continue watching the game...

So is this where I go start my homework, study for that test I have tomorrow and write that paper due first period? I can just watch the end of the game on my computer...it doesn't look like it will be too eventful…

14. ...But then you reminded yourself to never give up on your boys.

Nahhh no way, I’m staying and watching this game until the end and if the Pats go down I go down with them. I can’t give up on them now. This is my team and even if we lose the Patriots are still the best team there is. Oh, and to the dude commenting on how ugly Tom Brady is, you must be blind, I know you are just jealous you can’t rock a pair of Ugg boots as well as he can.

15. TOUCHDOWN PATRIOTS!

Ok at least if we lose now it’s not as embarrassing as it could be...WAIT….just kidding Gostkowski just missed the extra point....the Pats are now the laughing stock, this is really embarrassing but I am going to pretend like it doesn’t phase me (even though on the inside I am dying).

16. What are the chances we catch them?

They are slim but hey it’s still possible right? If we score two touchdowns with two 2-point conversions we could tie it and go into overtime.

17. Field goal.

Three more points on the board, one step closer. We are running out of time!!!

18. YESSSSSS! TOUCHDOWN!

Now let’s go for the two point conversion. OK we got it. We are only 8 points away from tying!!!! We need a miracle to pull this off, no doubt that we can do it.

19. HOW DID JULIO JONES’S CATCH THAT AND NOT GO OUT OF BOUNDS?

I have to give it to him that was pretty amazing, I respect that.

20. OH MY GOD OH MY GOD EDELMAN IS MY HERO, THAT CATCH WAS LEGENDARY!

Sorry Julio, but THAT was the catch of the game. This is the moment we all realized this game was ours for the taking, and we were going to take it.

21. IS THIS REAL LIFE?? WE JUST TIED THE GAME! I SAY AGAIN WE JUST TIED UP THE GAME!

My hands are shaking, I’m sweating, my heart is beating way too fast and I think I just jumped through the ceiling! Am I dreaming?!! There are still two minutes left, A LOT CAN HAPPEN IN TWO MINUTES!

22. OVERTIME BABY!

At this point I think I am about to throw up, I’m at the edge of my seat and all the Falcon’s fans have now shut up and can’t believe what they just witnessed. Guess the Pat’s aren’t so bad after all huh? They just proved you wrong now didn’t they. Oh and they just won the coin toss, HELL YA LETS GOOOOOO!

23. Being overly obnoxious in overtime with every play because you can’t control yourself, it comes with being a Pat’s fan.

Yes I will scream, jump, bite, kick, hug, and punch. Just stay out of my way if you are not on my side

.

24. HE WAS OVER!!!! THE BALL IS GOOD. TOUCHDOWN PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!

WE JUST WON IS THIS REAL LIFE, DID THAT ACTUALLY JUST HAPPEN?! *JUMPING* *SCREAMING* *RUNNING* *HUGGING* *DOESN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ONE'S SELF*

25. Man am I proud to be from New England. That was amazing. I just witnessed history.

I love the Patriots. To all those who hated on me and my team all year, please continue to hate the best team there is out there, because you ain’t stopping us.

26. Waiting patiently for the moment Roger Goodell would have to hand Tom Brady the MVP trophy.

We’ve been waiting for this moment ALL season. Brady’s face says it all.

Prove people wrong. Go Patriots!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
