The English language is full of words that no one has ever heard of, or that people rarely use. Many of these words are fun to say and have funny definitions. There are currently 171,476 words in the English language, and more are being added each year. Below are a few that I found interesting yet fun!
- Argle-bargle - copious but meaningless talk or writing
- Blatherskite - a person who talks at great length without making much sense
- Coprolaia – the involuntary repetitive use of obscene language
- Dumbsize – to reduce the staff numbers of a company to such low levels that work can no longer be carried out effectively

- Vidiot – a habitual, undiscriminating watcher of television or videotapes
- Winebibber – a heavy drinker
- Xertz – to gulp down quickly and greedily
- Yarborough – hand of cards containing no card above a nine
- Zoanthropy – delusion of a person who believes himself changed into an animal
