Because there's too much to comment on during that journey from bed to class

Walking to class is always a struggle when it takes you 15 minutes to get from your bed to the other side of campus to make it to your 8am. With all this time, you're bound to think about anything from life to schoolwork, or that one person in front of you who JUST WON'T WALK FAST ENOUGH. You'd be lying to yourself if you haven't spent at least a fraction of your walk thinking about any (or all) of these things.

1. I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than walk to class today.

2. I literally look homeless.

3. IS THAT A DOG???

4. How does that person know everyone?

5. Thanks for stopping to have a conversation. I didn't need to get by you anyway.

6. If this car hits me hard enough, I won't have to go to school for at least three weeks.

7. Oh hi. You're hot.

8. Don't look at me. Peasant.

9. Do I know them well enough to say "hi" or is that weird?

10. That biker almost killed me.

11. Should I invest in a bike like that?

12. I deserve a nap after class.

13. So this is the sun's attempt at blinding me...

14. Please don't ask me to join your club.

15. I'd rather drop dead thn walk the rest of the way.

16. I need to EAT.

17. Is there free food at that table over there?

18. WALK FASTER, PLEASE.

19. I should just drop out of school and marry rich.

20. Class starts in three minutes but I could really use a coffee...

21. *Trips* Alright, I'm done with today.

22. Is that person too far away for me to hold the door open for them and have it NOT be awkward?

23. I should probably go to the gym today.

24. This walk is kind of a workout, so maybe not.

25. Oh no. Stairs.

26. My legs are on fire.

27. Does this building have an elevator?

28. Well, time for 50 minutes of nonsense.

29. Maybe the teacher won't show up and I can leave.

30. How many days until the weekend?

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
