It's okay, you can admit it.

I believe we all have come down to the conclusion that TV today is not what it once was. Have you ever just sat down and tried to watch what is on Disney channel, Cartoon Network, or Nickelodeon today? I know it can't just be me that thinks the quality of shows for young children has terribly gone down the drain. I promise I have tried to sit down and watch the new ones, you know, to maybe give them a chance. In all honesty, they are nothing compared to the cartoons and shows that were on the air in the '90s or 2000s. The old shows parents could even sit down and watch without cringing but these new ones... no thanks. Here are 26 cartoons from our childhood that we all know we secretly miss...

1. Rugrats (1990-2006)

My favorite and many other's favorite as well. I still mourn the loss of the Rugrats. Who wouldn't want to go on an adventure with Tommy Pickles and the gang?

2. The Wild Thornberrys (1998-2004)

A monkey that acts like a human and a kid that acts like a monkey? YASSS!!!

3. Rocket Power (1999-2004)

They used to make us want to catch a wave.

4. CatDog (1998-2005)

Half cat? Half dog? Complete opposites? That's all that needs to be said.

5. Angry Beavers (1997-2001)

If we all had tails we would be doing the "Beaver Slap" because of this show.

6. Cow and Chicken (1995-2004)

A cow and a chicken? What a lovely duo.

7. Rocko's Modern Life (1993-1996)

Full of laughs and even had hidden messages so that parents could get a laugh too... It was one of my favorites.

8. Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (1994-1997)

Our experience with friendly, goofy monsters. Not all things creeping through the dark are so bad...

9. The Magic School Bus (1994-1997)

Everyone wanted to take a ride with "The Frizz."

10. Hey Arnold (1996-2004)

Remember Helga's bubble gum sculpture?

11. Courage the Cowardly Dog (1999-2002)

I loved going on Courage's little adventures through different worlds and odd characters.

12. The "Original" Teen Titans (2003-2007)

Unfortunately, they now have a new Teen Titans, and it is nothing like the original... why not bring this one back?

13. Johnny Bravo (1997-2004)

Johnny Bravo taught kids to always make sure they look good... He even carried around a mirror.

14. Dexter's Laboratory (1996-2003)

Ohhh little Dexter... how could anyone forget you?

15. Powerpuff Girls (1998-2005)

They now have a new Powerpuff Girls, too bad today's generation doesn't get to experience the originals..

16. Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy (1999-2009)

I believe this picture explains it all... Even my dad liked this one.

17. Pinky and the Brain (1995-1998)

Their arguments went on and on like their exercise wheel.

18. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (2001-2007)

A children's show that includes the Grim Reaper? Why not.

19. Recess (1997-2001)

If only parents knew what all went down on the playground...

20. Invader Zim (2001-2003)

We all love something a little wacky every once and awhile.

21. As Told by Ginger (2000-2004)

Struggles of teenage life through the eyes of one goofy cartoon character? Don't mind if I do.

22. Franklin (1997-2003)

We used to all go to Franklin's house, but we can't anymore. *sad face*

23. Arthur (1996- )

It has changed. You couldn't help but love Arthur's little sister with her amazing amount of sarcasm she always had...

24. The Original Tom and Jerry (1940-1958)

Although they began and ended before our time, they were the best of all the Tom and Jerry's and they were still on the air. We had the opportunity to watch the same ones as our parents did.

25. Duck Tales (1987-1990)

Who doesn't like adventures with a group of ducks?

26. The Looney Tunes (1930-1969)

Even though this is the date for the old episodes, there are now a lot of new one's too which you most likely saw as well.

I know, I know you just majorly went back in time. Growing up with these shows makes it hard to sit down with kids now and watch TV. Like I said before, they are totally different. These shows were fun for everyone and they will be terribly missed.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
