If you grew up in the 90s or the early 2000s (and your family didn't want to buy cable), you probably got to watch a lot of PBS Kids as a child. This channel brought countless lovable characters and memories into my life, as I'm sure it did for you. So, it's time for a quick throwback. Here are a few ways you can tell that you used to watch the shows on PBS Kids, back in the day.
1. You learned endless wisdom about life from Arthur and his friends.
2. Your biggest aspiration in life was to be on "Zoom."
"Come on and zoom!"
3. You wished you had friends as cool as Cleo and T-Bone.
4. Cliffhanger made you a little nervous, every time you watched "Between the Lions."
Can't. Hold. On. Much. LONGER!
5. Muffy was your spirit animal.
6. You never forgot that this was 100% juice.
7. You wanted a magical dragon scale more than anything.
8. You never questioned why there was a baby's face on the sun in Teletubbyland.
9. Or why these planes had human faces.
And now you wonder how you could watch Jay Jay the Jet-Plane as a child and not be afraid. Just look at that face...
10. Your only motivation for learning math was so you could help Jackie, Matt and Inez defeat the Hacker.
11. These two were #siblinggoals for you.
12. This show was always an hour well spent.
13. When no one was watching, you sat on a round rug and tried to do this.
And you probably pulled a muscle too.
14. You actually remember Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat.
15. You can still sing this intro song.
16. You always wondered why this kid was bald.
And you know how to pronounce his name, which is saying something.
17. You really wanted a pet talking lemur, because of this show.
Chris and Martin (and Jovian the lemur) were literally the best ever.
18. It was always disappointing when you had to hear the same Speckle and Friends story twice.
19. You knew about George Shrinks before you knew about Ant-Man.
20. Whenever you heard the tune for "Yankee Doodle", you thought of the words to Barney's theme song instead.
21. LeVar Burton's show is the main reason for why you enjoy reading today.
22. So is Wishbone.
23. You really wanted Buster to come visit your house and learn about your city.
24. You always wondered just how many sweaters Mister Rogers owned.
25. You can still quote this intro that played before every show on the PBS channel.
"...and by contributions to your PBS station from viewers like you. Thank you."
