Have you ever accidentally waved to someone you didn't know? Do you cringe when going over your last conversation with your crush? Are you sick of saying goodbye to someone, only to find out that you are both headed in the same direction? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you've clicked on the right article! Here are 25 ways to handle an Awkward Situation.

1. Laugh it off.

They'll think it was a joke they didn't get!

2. Do it again.

They'll think you meant to do it. At least you'll seem confident.

3. Pretend you didn't notice.

It will be as if it didn't even happen.

4. Apologize.

Take responsibility for the pain you've put them through.

5. Draw attention to your good qualities.

Just in case they stopped liking you.

6. Draw attention to someone more awkward than you.

Like they do in Friends all the time.

7. Just stop talking.

At least you won't make it worse.

8. Change the subject.

Distract them so they forget the memory.

10. Blame lack of sleep.

So believable.

11. Blame coffee.

Also believable.

12. Blame Predestination. (Works best when at Church)

Doesn't undo what you did, but it does mean it's not your fault!

13. Blame Puberty.

Because puberty is the reason for ALL our problems.

14. Remind them of a past interaction you had with them that wasn't awkward.

In case they forgot what you're REALLY like.

15. Laugh diabolically and tell them you're actually an evil twin.

This works best if you already have a twin.

16. Just Leave.

Depending on the level of awkward you created you might just want to not come back.

17. Point out their flaws.

Bring them down to your level.

Okay

18. Tell them they're dreaming.

Don't pinch them though, because that'll make it more awkward.

19. Tell them you forgot your medication today.

If only there was a real pill to your awkwardness.

20. Offer them food if they'll agree to continue your friendship.

If they're in college it's like a rule to not turn down free food.

21. Make a time machine, go back and undo it.

This is a double win because you'll also win some sort of science award.

22. Break out into the chorus of "I Never Meant to Hurt You" by Barbra Streisand

Music is powerful.

23. Cry until they feel bad for you.

Those who find themselves in awkward situations often should consider carrying an onion with them to be prepared.

24. Live in denial.

Just because it happened doesn't mean you need to acknowledge it.

25. Post about it on social media.

At least let your friends get a good laugh out of it.

You're welcome, friends. Remember - each awkward moment becomes a fun story.

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.

It's one of my favorite things to eat and I will NEVER turn down a slice, even if it doesn't have my favorite toppings. There isn't a day that goes by where I'm not thinking about pizza. I even sleep with a pizza pillow every night! There are many reasons why pizza stands above all other foods, and here are just a couple reasons why.
