If you are like me, you have spent the last few weeks (if not months) writing and rewriting supplemental essays, getting recommendation letters, going on interviews, and telling 48,576 of you parents closest friends about the school you want to go to. That's right, its late October of your senior year and college is the only thing on your mind. You love thinking about it and all of the possibilities. You are excited to see where you get in, and even more excited to see where you end up. But now, all you are doing is writing applications and it is way more stressful than you were expecting:
1. This is harder than I thought it would be.
2. They have how many supplements!?
3. If it says at least one page, should I write one, or, like, 25?
4. Who else is applying?
5. I wonder where everyone else will go from my school.
6. Why do I have to pay to send SAT scores, AP scores, ACT scores, and the application itself?
7. I'm definitely not getting in.
8. Should I do the scholarship essay? Will I get the scholarship?
9. Should I send and email asking a question? Or is that too much?
10. I'm definitely getting in.
11. Does 250-650 words mean I should write 650?
12. What is my third choice concentration?
13. What if I don't get in anywhere?
14. What if my computer explodes on October 31st?
15. What if my common app doesn't go through?
16. What if I accidentally spelled my name wrong?
17. Why should I be considered for admission for (insert school name)?
18. What stands out about this school to me?
19. This is easier than I thought it would be.
20. I want to talk about college all of the time.
21. I don't want to talk about college anymore.
22. I love (insert school name) so much I can't even think about anything else!
23. I can't wait to hear back!
24. How did high school go by so quickly?
25. This is all going to be worth it.
