1. It's under 75 degrees...you know what the means...

2. Is it too early to wear this sweater?

3. Gosh..it's a million degrees. WHAT HAVE I DONE?

4. Should I get a PSL or a salted caramel mocha?

5. LOL PSL duh.

6. Oh no. I'm a basic white girl.

7. Are those leaves on the sidewalk?

8. I'm going to step on the crunchy looking ones.

9. OK, now it's actually cold.

10. *Walks into Bath & Body Works*

11. THIS IS HEAVEN.

12. I want all the fall scents in my house. Right now.

13. OK. OK. Self-control.

14. So, I bought four different scents? What of it?

15. This is perfect weather to nap in.

16. I have a couple hours to nap this afternoon...

17. LOL but should I be doing homework?

18. Probably.

19. Ugh. Fine. No nap for me.

20. I just finished my PSL but I really want another one...

21. Don't you dare judge me, barista.

22. Aww. Look a pumpkin patch.

23. I can't wait to dress my kids in cute fall clothes and make them take pumpkin patch pictures.

24. Can it be Thanksgiving break already?

25. I just need a nap.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You can't just go to your room to take a nap in the middle of your classes.

Having to spend all your extra cash on gas for your car.

Speaking of money, you probably don't have a meal plan so you're forced to scrounge up some change or mooch off of your friends.

It can be harder to maintain the friendships you make with people from class.

Finding a parking spot.

It can be harder to be involved on campus because between your one, two, or three jobs and school you don't have much free time.

When you try to be super involved on campus, it can kill your sleep schedule.

It's impossible to do homework at home, but staying on campus isn't an option sometimes.

There are surveys and events that you can't participate in because you're a commuter.

Group projects are the bane of your existence.

Traffic.

Your backpack rivals that of a survivalist trekking in the woods.

Driving all the way to campus to find a note on the door of your classroom saying class was cancelled.

Because have you ever had to endure grilling your foot on a George Foreman?
