25 Things You Should Never Apologize For

We are all constantly worried about our image or how others perceive us. We often find we are not being true to ourselves because of the fear of upsetting someone else. This usually leads to putting others feelings above our own needs. You're not being true to yourself when you say you're sorry for something you're not. While there are times to apologize for our actions, there are also some things that we have absolutely no reason to be sorry for.

Here are a few things, I think, you should never have to apologize for:

1. Loving someone

2.Doing well in life

3. Being yourself

4. Your weight or physical attributes

5. Being tired

6. Achieving a goal

7. Eating ice cream...before dinner!!

8. Asking for or needing help

9. Not checking your phone every five minutes

10. Laughing loudly

11. Licking the cake batter

12. Having a lot of friends

13. Crying sometimes

14. Taking time for yourself

15. Speaking your mind

16.Being single

17. Sleeping in on your day off

18. Having a little fun

19. Needing space

20. Loving animals

21. Dancing in the rain or jumping in puddles

22. Saying no

19.Taking a nap

20.Being honest

20. Being happy

Stop worrying about what other people think. Over apologizing when it is not necessary can cause low self-esteem. It's great to be able to say "I'm sorry", but save it for when you have actually messed up. Know the difference between being wrong and standing up for yourself.

"Never apologize for showing your feelings. When you do, you are apologizing for the truth." - Benjamin Disraeli

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
