I’m 20. I’ve got a long way to go, I know.

You have no reason to listen to me at all. But I know how I want to live my life, and that’s by doing what I want for me. I will not let someone else tell me what I should be doing because I don’t want to be like most of the older people I’ve met who are 70 years old and hating their life because they didn’t take that chance or they didn’t do anything THEY wanted to do.

Here’s a list of 25 things that you should just do without questioning:

1. Get that tattoo

2. Drop everything and go wherever you want to go even if there’s only $5 to your name

3. Kiss the girl (or boy)

4. Take the job whether its 1,000 miles from your family or right down the street

5. Tell your people that you love them. Your friends, your family, your dog - Just tell them

6. Laugh even if you sound like a dying hyena

7. Send that nude because why not?

8. Do something that makes you super uncomfortable like dancing in the middle of the food court at the mall or asking out your crush

9. Do anything new even if you feel like you’ll fail

10. Get drunk even if you work at 4 AM

11. Shave your head or grow your hair down to your butt

12. Smile at a stranger and have a conversation

13. Pay it forward even if you end up paying for someone’s $100 dinner - it’ll come back to you

14. Tell your biggest secret to someone you love even if you fear their reaction

15. Go to dinner by yourself or the movies

16. Buy that expensive pair of shoes

17. Go to a place where there are too many people to count and just vibe

18. Let your sexuality be the most important and beautiful part of you. Let it be known

19. Smoke as many cigarettes as you want without letting people tell you any different (even if it’s only when you’re drunk)

20. Hop in your car and go wherever

21. Eat that pizza. Or that chocolate cake. Or that cookie. Or even that stick of cheese that you told yourself you were saving for cooking

22. Go and hang out with friends even when you feel like you just want to crawl under your covers and never come out

23. Ask questions; no matter how dumb they might seem or sound

24. Be loud always

25. Be yourself at all times even if who you are might not fit in with whatever location you may be at, at the moment.

Be spontaneous, eccentric, true, and messy and don’t let anyone tell you any different.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
