As we begin a new chapter as juniors in college, we face a limbo between being our old, underclassmen selves and being responsible adults. We are learning to be independent while also knowing full well that we're still learning. We make mistakes and try to learn from them, but sometimes stress gets the best of us. We're pro's at college, but new at this scary thing called adulthood. It's easy to lose our way in the maze of classes, jobs, friends and relationships, but sticking to these standards helps us find our way back to our true selves. Here are 25 things to remember as a junior in college:

1. You don't have to be everyone's favorite person. Friends will come and go, and that's okay.

2. Save your money. Being a little broke now is better than being a lot broke later.

3. Thank everyone who helps you along the way. Don't sever ties with people who care about you.

4. You don't need to feel pressured to have a boyfriend, but don't let people pressure you to be single either.

5. Do something every day that scares you. It could be the best thing you ever did.

6. Send letters home. Tell your parents and siblings you love them every chance you can.

7. Get some sleep. Don't let yourself get away from what's truly important; your well-being.

8. Have fun. Laugh until you can't breathe and do that every day.

9. Remind yourself that you're still learning. Let yourself fail sometimes.

10. Put yourself out there. Let people know who you are and what you stand for.

11. But, don't be afraid to be vulnerable. Let people in.

12. Love yourself. Remember that you're beautiful and take care of what makes you pretty on the outside and the inside.

13. Talk to everyone. Get to know people before you make judgments. Everyone is going through something you know nothing about.

14. Be a loyal friend, even if your friend doesn't always treat you the same way.

15. If someone disrespects you, you don't need them in your life.

16. Treat every day as if you're bringing yourself one step closer to your dream life.

17. Say you're sorry when you need to.

18. Talk yourself into buying the shoes you want. Treat yourself.

19. Read as often as you can. Stay up-to-date with what's going on in the world.

20. Speak your mind. Stand for what's right even when it isn't popular.

21. Look up from your phone. Experience the day without being absorbed in social media.

22. In the end, your character is more important than your profile picture.

23. Stop comparing yourself to others. Be confident.

24. Be independent, but don't be afraid to ask questions if you need help.

25. You have two years left of college. Make every day special. Fall down and pick yourself up. Be crazy and be amazing all at once. You're on your way to the real "best days of your life."

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
