Summer break is right around the corner for most college students. Summer gives us the chance to relax and do a lot of things that we didn't get to do last summer.

So here is a list of things that I look forward to doing this summer:

1. Summer concerts

2. Sleeping in (on days I don't work)

3. Working a lot (and saving money)

4. Lake days

5. Camping (in a camper)

6. Tanning

7. Pool days

8. Nice weather

9. Weddings

10. Baseball games

11. Barbecues

12. Driving around with the windows down

13. County Fairs

14. Zoo days

15. Six Flags

16. Waterparks

17. Road trips

18. Friends coming home from college

19. Wearing sandals/flip flops everywhere (except for work)

20. Being able to binge watch shows

21. The couple of weeks we have until summer classes start and the couple of weeks afterwards

22. Cute dates with your S.O.

23. Watermelon and other summer fruits

24. The 4th of July

25. Drive-in movies (only on days when it isn't too hot)

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester.
