So this is Christmas... or so the song goes.

I will literally be depressed about Christmas being over until July, maybe even October, who knows.

But I know I'm not the only one who feels the after Christmas Blues. Here's a few tips and tricks to wipe away those post-Christmas tears:

1. Eat Leftovers

2. Sit in your room and stare at your presents

3. Go to the movies and watch all the new movies

4. Go to the mall for after-Christmas deals

5. Wear new clothes to all the places

6. Get drunk off of leftover holiday wine (drink responsibly)

7. Hang out with friends from home/make new friends

8. Wrap yourself in big blanket and lay under your tree and never move (until Thanksgiving)

9. Burn Christmas tree

10. Use fire to make s'mores

11. Make New Year's plans

12. Buy a New Year's Eve outfit with new gift cards

13. Go to Starbucks with all your new Starbucks gift cards (I know you got em)

14. Go for a jog, ya know, holiday weight

15. Play with your dog

16. Come up with New Year's resolutions

17. take advantage of the IHOP holiday menu still going on

18. Watch an entire Netflix series before 2017

19. Get a tan and surprise your friends

20. Return all ugly sweaters or put them away until next year

21. Use Christmas lights for DIY New Year's outfit

22. Write a list of the best things that happened in 2016

23. 2016 is almost over, yay

24. Throw a Boxing Day party

25. Sleep, you earned it

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
