There’s no doubt Colorado is the greatest state in America. From the glorious Rocky Mountains to the Mile High City, Colorado can offer fun and joy to everyone. I have been incredibly fortunate to have grown up in one of the most beautiful, adventure-filled and happy states. Though I’m not truly a native (those first two years down in Texas have nothing on Colorado) I’d readily recommend this state to anyone looking for a good time. So, if you happen to find yourself out west with nothing to do this summer, check out this list!

1. Visit Red Rocks

Of course, I must start with my favorite place on earth… Red Rocks. Whether it’s a concert, hiking the surrounding mountains, lounging at Film on the Rocks or chanting “Namaste” at Yoga on the Rocks this magnificent park must not be missed!

2. Check out any of the art galleries along Santa Fe in Denver’s Art District (especially Leon or RULE!)

3. Try out every bar in the Denver Passport (https://www.thepassportprogram.com/)

4. Rise and shine to catch a sunrise out on Devil’s Head Trail

5. Swing dance the night away at the Mercury Café in Denver

6. Zipline through the Royal Gorge

7. Attend a Rockies Game….and sit in The Purple Row to be exactly one mile high

8. Hit up Rocky Mountain National Park

9. Drink your weight in delicious beers at the Coors Brewery, or any of the hundreds of incredible breweries around Denver or Fort Collins

10. Visit the Maroon Bells

11. Hike any of the incredible fourteeners in Colorado

12. Go tubing in Boulder Creek

13. Visit Mesa Verde

14. Raft down the Colorado River

15. Cliff dive at Devil’s Punchbowl

16. Attend Colorado Crush to see live street artists at work

17. Jam out to any concert on Colfax

18. After aforementioned concert, chow down on the best donut you could ever have at VooDoo Donuts

19. Stroll down 16th Street Mall in Denver, and later on visit Pearl Street in Boulder

20. Spend a night in the haunted Stanley Hotel

21. Visit the Botanic Gardens

22. See the glorious Garden of the Gods

23. Lounge around Union Station

24. Hike the glorious Flat Irons in Boulder

25. Once you’ve regained your energy, hike the Hanging Lake Trail

Honestly, if you can make it through this whole list by the end of the summer, I'd be surprised if you're still standing! Colorado has so much to offer from the incredible music scene, craft breweries, and endless outdoor adventures, it's the perfect place to call home....if you like to have fun with your life!

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
