There's nothing quite like the bond you share with your roommate, they have seen you through a lot and never fail to love you anyways. So here's to the random things you've probably said, because let's face it there are no boundaries between you and them.

1. Do you think we should clean this week?

2. Can we go to Target?

3. What time do we have classes tomorrow?

4. Are you going to go to the gym?

5. Does this match?

6. Are we going out tonight?

7. What are you going to wear tonight?

8. Should we go to the library?

9. Are you going to class today?

10. What time do you think I need to wake up to make it to class on time?

11. Are you hungry?

12. What do you want to eat?

13. Can you read my paper?

14. Did you do laundry yet?

15. Are you sick? I think I'm sick.

16. Do you want to nap, I'm going to nap?

17. Did we set enough alarms?

18. Can we turn the heat up?

19. Did you hear that noise?

20. OMG, I have to tell you who texted me today.

21. *Insert Store* is having a sale, let's online shop!

22. I can't sleep, are you awake?

23. How are we going to go 5 weeks without seeing each other for break??

24. I'm so glad we don't hate each other!

25. Thanks for being the best roommates ever!!!

Even though, they can drive you crazy sometimes, no doubt your roommates are some of the best people in your life, and let's be honest, could we really ever survive without each other?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself?
