It seems like no one is happy this week. I find myself getting tired and fed up as well; the election hullabaloo grows tiring after awhile. I think everyone, myself included, needs to remember that life is good today.
1. One word: chocolate. It makes everything wonderful.
2. The sun still rises and sets--and lights up the world in between--every day.
3. Puppies and kittens exist. Enough said.
4. NFL Sunday football is happening.
5. There is at least one reason to laugh every day.
6. Breakfast makes every morning good.
7. Lunch makes every afternoon great.
8. Dinner makes every night delicious.
9. Music is made, songs are sung, and each day is brighter for it.
10. Flowers bloom--unless they're mine, and then they just die.
11. Netflix exists.
12. The stars won't stop shining (and the North Star points, well, north...to Canada...which might be a good place to live if you don't like the election results).
13. Retail therapy will always be an option.
14. Ponds exist, and ponds were made for fishing. Catching fish leads to a fish fry, which leads to a full stomach and happiness.
15. Friendship will never die.
16. Books: they open doors to anywhere in the world.
17. Road trips with friends make life an adventure.
18. The Presidency is up for grabs every four years.
19. There is at least one reason to smile every day, too.
20. Family will always be there when the rest of the world isn't.
21. The sky is always blue, no matter what.
22. It is never more than a month until the next holiday (and all holidays can be celebrated, no matter how minor--don't forget Boxing Day).
23. Desserts make every day sweeter.
24. Faith, hope, and love never end.
25. The world will keep on turning and life will go on, no matter who is President.
