1. Football starts.

I mean come on, who doesn’t get excited about Friday night football?

2. Leaves change color.

  • As the leaves turn from seaweed and crocodile green to tiger and marmalade orange or even crimson and scarlet red, the scenery becomes more beautiful and decorative than ever.
  • 3. Sweater weather

  • Going from super warm weather to sunny days with cool crisp winds, it’s the perfect time of year to bundle up in your favorite sweaters and rock those flannels.
  • 4. Fall scented products

  • What’s better than coming home to the sweet smells of pumpkin swirl and autumn leaves? At this time of year, you can easily find me clearing out the fall section in Bath & Body Works. What about even going to Dunkin Donuts and getting a pumpkin spice coffee or pumpkin swirl muffin?
  • 5. Bonfires

  • The crackling and smell that you are able to experience with your friends while sitting around cooking marshmallows and just having fun. The way that you will have the smell of the fire in your hair for days even after you take a shower.
  • 6. Thanksgiving

  • What’s better than having the family all together to celebrate the holidays?
  • 7. Pumpkins

  • From the pumpkin patches that you have to take a hay ride to, to finding the perfect pumpkin to carve your favorite character or even a scary silly face, just to have your mom season and cook the pumpkin seeds to snack on - nothing gets better than that.
  • 8. Apple picking

  • From when you walk into the farm and all you can smell is the sweet smell of apples and being able to hand pick the deliciously fresh apples. Being able to pick the best ones to make homemade apple pick and candy apples with is the best.
  • 9. Onesies

  • That comfortable and cozy feeling you get when your all snug on your bed or coach as you watch a movie. And what makes it even better is that it gives you the opportunity to dress up as whatever you want. For example: Ninja turtle, superman/batman, or even a stormtrooper from Star Wars.
  • 10. Halloween movie marathon

  • What could be even more exciting than when your favorite childhood movies come on during the "13 Nights of Halloween" marathon? There’s nothing better than watching your favorite throwbacks like “Halloweentown” and “Casper.”
  • 11. HALLOWEEN!!

  • The excitement of walking around and seeing the excitement on the little kids faces as they go running around trick or treating and trying to scare the older kids.
  • 12. Haunted houses

  • Everyone needs a good scare to keep them on their toes and there is no better way to do that than go into a mad house or corn maze.
  • 13. Walks in the woods

  • There’s no better feeling than when you go on a nice long walk and hear the leaves that have just fallen crinkle underneath your feet as you hear the wind in the trees and feel the wind brush against your face.
  • 14. Choosing which fall-colored nail polish to wear

  • Because you’d be lying if you said you didn’t have SO many orange, brown, and purple tones with (sparkles)!
  • 15. Scarfs

  • No explanation required.
  • 16. Tea & Hot Cocoa

  • The two best drinks in the world; this is the season they belong to.
  • 17. Tranquil feelings and cool vibes

  • How can you be negative when the wind is blowing in your hair?
  • 18. Thick knitted socks

  • Really starting to question if I need to explain anymore how amazing Fall is. Seriously, who doesn’t L.O.V.E. thick knitted socks???
  • 19. Reading a good book

  • There’s no better feeling than sitting by a window on a windy day and reading a book (occasionally cover to cover)!
  • 20. Watching your own breath

  • Because it’s almost calming in a way, soothing to see your own breathing pattern.
  • 21. DID I MENTION PUMPKINS?

  • So important, I listed it twice!
  • 22. Cuddling

  • With your significant other, BFF, or your dog, cuddling is always a fun time.
  • 23. Pranks

  • Because there’s no better way to amuse yourself than to watch horror on other people’s faces. Or is that just me?
  • 24. Watching your dogs run through the leaves

  • You’ve never seen anyone as happy as a dog running in the wind, leaves flying everywhere.
  • 25. You’re one season closer to Christmas!

  • Just think once the "13 Nights of Halloween Ends", it’s just a matter of time before the "Countdown till’ Christmas" is on Freeform.
