Winter break is in sight! Finals are almost over and my bags are almost packed. That means it's time to go home. There is a lot of things I am looking forward to home too.

  1. My bed
  2. My mom
  3. My laundry being in the same building as me
  4. Not having to share a room
  5. Having no homework
  6. Seeing my best friend
  7. Consistent wifi
  8. Radio stations I know
  9. A car I get to drive
  10. Home cooked meals
  11. My favorite restaurants
  12. Christmas
  13. Family
  14. Sleeping in
  15. Having my own bathroom
  16. Consistent water temperature
  17. Good water pressure
  18. Free food
  19. Fruits and veggies
  20. No stress
  21. Caribou Coffee
  22. No tax on clothes
  23. A dishwasher
  24. Skiing
  25. Snow (But only a little since I did move across the country to avoid it)

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
