Questions About 'Friends' That Will Never Have An Answer

In This Article:

"Friends" celebrated its 25th Anniversary. It has been a quarter of century enjoying the adventures of Monica, Ross, Phoebe, Rachel, Joey and Chandler in "Central Perk." I am a huge fan of the show. I do not know how many times I have watched each episode.

I have to admit that my favorite season is the fourth and the first is my least favorite is season one. I am not sure about the final episode, or the way they drove some stories, such as the crush between Rachel and Joey, but I can say "Friends" is unique and a great TV show.

I want to share with you the 25 questions I have and 25 years later, they do not have an answer.

1. How Rachel and Monica could afford their apartment?

Let's face it, no matter they said, they did not have money to pay the rent of that apartment at least the first three seasons.

2. Why did they only make parties for Rachel’s birthday?

They never celebrated Chandler, Phoebe, or Ross's birthday. Only when they turned 30.

4. How did Phoebe leave the streets and start living with her grandmother?

I never understood Phoebe's history. It is confusing and her grandmother is like she did not exist, even when she had the triplets, the grandmother never showed up.

5. Did Phoebe’s grandmother know Lily was not the biological mother of her and Ursula?

The same. Why Phoebe's story is so badly told.

6. How could Joey afford all his dates in the first seasons?

He did not have money for a long time. How he could pay for all those dates.

7. Has Ben ever met his sister Emma?

I think this is the worse mistake in the full show. They had to show the siblings together at least once.

8. Did Dennis really exist?

Do you remember Dennis? Phoebe's roommate who lived with her precisely in the time Rachel had to move, and the same one who left Phoebe's apartment just in time to make the two blondies live together.

9. Could Mike be more perfect?

media.giphy.com

He is perfect; I do not have to say anything more.

10. Did they have other friends?

The truth is only Phoebe had other friends.

11. Which is the best couple: Rachel & Ross or Chandler & Monica?

My vote is for Chandler & Monica.

12. Does Ursula keep making porn movies?

I believe she is still in the business.

13. Why did Mark always offer a new-perfect-job to Rachel?

I think Ross was right.

14. Were they on a break?

I am with Rachel in this.

15. Does Bonnie still bold?

I think she is bold now.

16. Why did Rachel not remember Chandler even though they kissed in the past?

media.giphy.com

This is another mistake in the story. The writers added Rachel & Chandler's past by the seasons.

17. Why if everyone had family did they celebrate Thanksgiving together?

You know it is weird. They spent so much time together, why did they not visit their families on holidays.

18. Why did we hate Emily when she is right?

She must be mad; Ross said Rachel at their wedding.

19. Why Rachel & Joey? Why?

I hate this idea.

20. It is me, or was Monica & Chandler’s wedding not so good?

The whole season 8th was about the wedding and the wedding was so whatever.

21. Did you notice Ross has many red sweaters?

media.giphy.com

I do not know how they did not realize he was Rachel's baby's father since the beginning.

22. What did Chandler study in college?

We discovered what he did for a living, but they never mentioned his career.

23. When did the chicken and the duck die?

media.giphy.com

They disappeared one day and we could not say goodbye.

24. Why neither Monica & Chandler nor Ross buy curtains?

They could see each other's apartments, why did they not try to stop stalking each other.

25. When do we have a “Friends” revival?

I will never lose the hope of having them together one more time.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
