Watching a Disney movie is a whole different experience when you’re an adult compared to when you were younger. You catch things you didn’t before and you understand the plot line a little better. You realize the movie Aladdin would’ve been about 20 minutes if Aladdin would’ve been honest with Jasmine from the start about being the poor boy she met in the market one day. You realize how odd it is for Belle to be in love with an animal. And you realize Snow White is a slave to seven small men in the middle of a forest.
Although you may not have realized these plot-lines, among many others, when you were younger, Disney movies were very enjoyable as a child and they are still, admittedly, enjoyable as adults.
One thing that makes Disney movies so fun and entertaining, is the music. The happy, dance friendly music is sure to bring an instant smile to your face. 15+ years later, you’d be surprised at how many songs you still know the words to.
