Once you finally move out of your house, whether it be for college or to your own place, you call your mom all the time. Sometimes you call her to tell you that you love her, but most of the time you call her to ask something. Here are some of the things I've called to ask a ton of times.

1. How long can I go without washing a pair of jeans?

2. What do I do to make this cough go away?

3. Can I come home this weekend?

4. How many times can I eat Easy Mac before I get sick?

5. Can you put more money into my account?

6. What does this thing on my bank statement mean?

7. How do I call in my prescription?

8. What's the Netflix password?

9. This expired last month--can I still eat it?

10. Mom, I'm sick and I think I have a fever. What do I do?

11. Is it too late in the day to take this medicine?

12. Will you proofread my paper?

13. Is a tablespoon the big T or the little t?

14. How do I get this stain out?

15. Can you come visit me?

16. Can you tell me my social security number?

17. How do I know if this guy is flirting with me?

18. The doctor wants to know if I've had all of my shots. Have I?

19. Do I really need a flu shot?

20. These are my symptoms. Am I dying?

21. What is our family medical history?

22. He still hasn't called me. What do I do?

23. How do I put together a resume?

24. Can you send my cookies?

25. How does it feel now that I'm out of the house?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
