Have you found yourself acting like a certain 30-year-old angry bartender that we all know and love from the beloved show "New Girl"? Nick Miller is the quirky yet grumpy "old man" that everyone can relate to at some point in their life. But for some of us out there, we share most traits of the adorable and unmotivated man we call Nicholas Miller. Listed below are some qualities of what it "takes" to be a Nick Miller guy or girl.

1. You feel older than you actually are.

2. Word Vomit is nothing new to you.

You're not the best with words.

3. You're proud of all your accomplishments, no matter how small they may seem.

4. You have a hard time opening up to people.

But when you do, the floodgates will open.

5. Your friends could describe you as this:

6. You're resourceful.

7. You might be a little bit of a pessimist.

Definitely a glass half empty kind of person.

8. Eating healthy is not a priority to you.

Just give me some chicken fingers, mac and cheese, or some pizza and we'll be good.

9. You say and do some really bizarre things.

10. You may get irrationally angry at things.

11. Describing yourself sounds something like this:

12. You are in no way seductive or smooth.

13. You can exit any awkward or troubling situation with style.

14. You definitely are not a fan of fancy restaurants.

Just drop me off at the nearest pizza place and you'll be one happy camper.

15. You may not have your life completely together.

16. You deal with your emotions like this.

17. Your facial expressions are always on point.

Turtle faces are your specialty though.

No one even needs to talk to you, your facial expression says it all.

18. You are a terrible dancer but you embrace it.

19. You have an amazing group of friends who are always willing to do stupid or silly things with you.

but they are also there when you just need somebody to lean on

20. You make questionable fashion choices.

But you know you just look "too damn good" regardless of whatever you're wearing.

21. Sometimes words fail you.

22. Your hygiene is questionable.

23. You may have child-like tendencies.

24. You wouldn't change a thing about who you are.

So what? You may act like a 30-year-old bartender without health insurance but that's just who you are. It's a weird life, but it's where you're at right now. One day we'll get our lives together and stop worrying our friends and families, but until then just keep on doing you, my fellow Nick Millers.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
