24 of The Craziest Things College Kids Have Done for Free T-Shirts

College is hard. You’re broke, you haven’t had good food in months, and classes are impossible. College students need something to look forward to. So when the words, “FREE T-SHIRT” pop up, students will hop on that opportunity. I asked around and here are some of the craziest things college students have done for free t-shirts (in no particular order).

1. Donated blood.

2. Sat through a diving competition with an exam the next day

3. Stood in a sports bra in freezing weather for 4 hours


4. Took tours of apartments with no interest in leasing them


5. Placed thousands of towels on seats in Little John Coliseum


6. Waited in line for three hours outside of a basketball game

7. Crowded into a tiny room with 1000 other people for a housing fair


8. Waited in line for an hour and a half to tour a museum


9. Pretended to know Russian

10. Completed a series of physical fitness activities

11. Ate a 10 pound hamburger

12. Ate a 28-inch pepperoni pizza

13. Ate a five pound burrito

14. Ate 25 hotdogs


15. Watched the Clemson Women's basketball team

16. Beat up a dude at a football game

17. Shoved a kid out of the way at a football game

18. Went to Gameday and rushed the gates


19. Joined a sorority

20. Caught volleyballs in pants whilst wearing them

21. Dribbled a soccer ball with my head

22. Went to frat parties to steal tee’s from their laundry

23. Helped a drunken frat boy into his room to steal his tee

24. Stood in 103 degree weather with a few thousand freshman
