Through the terrible terrible year of 2016, Kate McKinnon has been a brilliantly blinding light through the darkness like the beautiful shining star that she is. This year the Saturday Night Live comedian rose to a higher level of fame, and won the devotion of countless new fans on the internet. She has won awards, gained instant recognition from her Hillary impersonation, and stared in one of the greatest blockbusters of the summer. I don't know how we ever got so lucky to have Kate in our lives, but I am so glad she's finally getting the recognition she deserves. Thank you, Kate McKinnon for sharing your existence with us.
